Dini Harsono is Assistant Director of the Clinical and Health Services Research Core at Yale University’s Center for Interdisciplinary Research on AIDS (CIRA) where she supports multidisciplinary research focused on HIV prevention, care, and treatment in national and international settings. She is the coordinator of CIRA's Criminalization of HIV Exposure Work Group and has written and contributed to reports, annotated bibliographies, and publications. She also oversees CIRA's international research initiatives and peer review program.
Before her work at CIRA, Dini was a clinical studies officer supporting mental health clinical trials and studies and a research associate working in numerous mixed-method research projects focused on addiction and psychiatric disorders at Keele University in England. She previously served as a peer educator and researcher at Indonesia’s first AIDS service organization, Yayasan Pelita Ilmu. Dini earned her MSc in Psychological Approaches to Health at University of Leeds, United Kingdom.
