Financial Aid
If you are planning to apply for financial aid, you should do so as soon as possible. Visit the Financial Aid website for information about financial aid opportunities and the application process. Students will be considered for YSPH grants and scholarships based on the availability of funds.

New students are also encouraged to visit the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH) website for more information about external scholarship opportunities.

Tuition, Bills, and Student Accounts
MPH tuition and fee information for the 2016-2017 academic year is available on the YSPH financial aid website. Student accounts and bill payments are coordinated by Student Financial Services. Please make sure to view the website carefully as it includes important information on the payment process, student accounts, and other financial issues.

Advanced Professional MPH and Accelerated MBA/MPH in Health Care Management students, please note that your summer term tuition and, if applicable, room and board, will be due July 1.

Many students at YSPH work during the school year. Their jobs vary greatly, from lab research to babysitting, but we suggest students not work more than 10 to 20 hours per week during their first semester, allowing for a transition and acclimation period. Most students wait until they arrive in New Haven to search for work, but if you desire to get started sooner, make use of the Yale Student Employment  and Human Resources’ job site

For information about military benefits including the Yellow Ribbon program please visit the Yale Financial Aid website at The YSPH VA school certifying official is Sarah Harmon, YSPH Registrar (
