Dede Orraca-Cecil is a member of the global health practice at Egon Zehnder where she advises clients on broad-ranging talent matters, including organizational design, leadership assessment and development, and succession planning. Dede also focuses on executive and Board level search for leading global health care institutions. . Dede began her career in healthcare research working with leading organizations including the World Health Organization in Ghana and Massachusetts General Hospital. After continuing her education and receiving her MPH and JD, she worked in the NY and San Francisco offices of the law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom as an associate in anti-trust law. In 2010, Dede and her family relocated to Boston and Dede joined Tapestry Networks, a strategy consulting firm that specializes in creating multi-stakeholder public-private partnerships to address issues in healthcare, finance and corporate governance. At Tapestry, she was Principal of the firm’s Healthcare Practice. Dede holds a JD from Columbia University School of Law, a Master’s Degree in Global Health Policy and Development from Yale University and a BA in Art History from Williams College. Dede and her husband Mark live in Sherborn, MA with their children Henry, Wyatt (6), Aubrey and Ronan.
