Terms of the Challenge

Outright gifts and gift intentions of $50,000 to $250,000 to create endowed scholarship, internship, or dean’s discretionary funds made during the challenge period (November 2008–April 2010) will qualify for the 1:1 match. You will receive a recognition opportunity for twice the amount of your gift. Gifts over $250,000 qualify for the maximum $250,000 match. Charitable trusts and other life income gifts are eligible for the match; bequests are not.

Reunion recognition: Yale college alumni donors will receive individual credit for the face value of their gifts or pledges. The match amount will be added to the Yale College class reunion gift total.
