Christine Malino receives the Downs International Health Prize for her thesis entitled, "Social Capital and Hypertension in Rural Haitian Women".  The prize is given in honor of Wilbur Downs, M.D., M.P.H., Professor of Epidemiology and Public Health, renowned international infectious diseases physician/scientist, and founder and benefactor of international health student travel and research at Yale.
