The Henry J. Chauncey Jr. Inspiration Award was established in recognition of Mr. Sam Chauncey, who developed our program in Health Management and fostered its close collaboration with the School of Management. A former Secretary of the University and distinguished member of the Yale and New Haven communities, Sam has been an instrument of change and long-time friend at the School of Public Health. This award was initiated and largely supported by the Health Management Program class of 1999.

It is given to the graduating Health Management student who most exemplifies innovation, integrity, leadership, and community service.
