Dr. Dubrow’s primary interest is epidemiology and public health education. As Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, he oversees and coordinates the educational curriculum at Yale School of Public Health. He also teaches the epidemiology core course for M.P.H. students. Dr. Dubrow’s primary research interests historically have been occupational epidemiology and cancer epidemiology and prevention. He has published on colorectal cancer, stomach cancer, esophageal cancer, breast cancer, prostate cancer, endometrial cancer, malignant melanoma, and osteosarcoma. In recent years he has turned his attention to HIV/AIDS, with a particular interest in the role of diagnosis of recent HIV infection in prevention. Dr. Dubrow directs the Center for Interdisciplinary Research on AIDS (CIRA)’s Office of International Training, which trains fellows from Russia, China, India, and Nicaragua in HIV prevention research.
