Health & Policy Administration
The Health Policy and Administration (HPA) division promotes a research–based approach to policy development and management
related to equity, efficiency, quality and access to health care. Faculty and students in the division view the determinants
of health through a wide lens, encompassing factors such as global politics, economic forces, organizational theory, and
risk considerations. Through research, academic courses, and practice–based work, the HPA division develops and evaluates
the applicability of innovative tools and techniques for guiding and assessing policy strategies and organizational performance.
