The Clinton Foundation and the Yale School of Public Health have joined forces with the Ethiopian Ministry of Health to launch the Ethiopian Hospital Management Initiative to improve the management of the public hospital system in Ethiopia. Researchers from the divisions of Health Policy and Administration and Global Health travel to Ethiopia to provide healthcare managers and workers with extensive training and practice in hospital and healthcare management. Faculty from the Health Policy and Administration division also work with a local partner in South Africa to provide leadership and training programs to clinicians and other healthcare managers who have primary responsibility for the public health delivery system.
