Why Hurricane Katrina Wreaked Such Havoc and What We Can Do About It
Experts in fields from public health to environmental law will
speak about the legal implications of the crisis in New Orleans.
Panelists are Michele Barry, professor of medicine and public health
and director of the Office of International Health at Yale Medical School;
Henry Fernandez '94, former economic development administrator for the
CitSeptember 14, 2005LC.;
Douglas Kysar, visiting professor of law at Yale Law School and professor
of law at Cornell Law School; Carol Rose, Gordon Bradford Tweedy Professor
of Law and Organization at Yale Law School; and Elinor Sutton, second-year
student at Yale Law School. The panel will be
moderated by Yale Law School Dean Harold Hongju Koh.
