Administrative Structure
The fellowship program will train students in modern methodologies for
evaluating determinants of human cancer risk, with an emphasis on nutritional,
environmental, and occupational determinants of human cancer risk including
their interactions with genetic factors. The program establishes the
following two linkages between EPH and NCI: (i) investigators from EPH's
Division of Chronic Disease Epidemiology (CDE), many of whom are working
in the nutritional epidemiology of cancer and genetic epidemiology of
cancer, work in partnership with NCI's Nutritional Epidemiology Branch
(NEB), and (ii) EPH's Division of Environmental Health Sciences (EHS)
works in partnership with NCI's Occupational and Environmental Epidemiology
Branch (OEEB).
