Connecticut Health Foundation's Policy Panel on Racial and Ethnic Health Disparities Releases Report with Recommendations for Eliminating Racial and Ethnic Health Disparities in Connecticut

The Connecticut Health Foundation's Policy Panel on Racial and Ethnic Health Disparities recently released a report containing 14 recommendations for reducing racial and ethnic health disparities in the areas of social and environmental factors, data collection, language barriers, and workforce diversity. The Connecticut Health Foundation will now incorporate the Policy Panel's recommendations into its racial and ethnic health disparities strategic plan through grants, technical assistance and public policy research. Curtis Patton, Professor of Epidemiology in the Yale School of Public Health's Division of Epidemiology of Microbial Diseases, was a member of the Policy Panel.
