Global Health Division Co-sponsors Symposium Series on the Ethical Aspects of Avian Influenza Pandemic Preparedness

Public health experts worldwide are anticipating an avian influenza pandemic. To help prepare for this threat, a symposium series entitled "Ethical Aspects of Avian Influenza Pandemic Preparedness" is being co-sponsored by Yale's Interdisciplinary Bioethics Project, The Donaghue Initiative in Biomedical and Behavioral Research Ethics, and the Global Health Division of the Yale School of Public Health (YSPH). Part I of the symposium, to be held on Tuesday, May 17 in Horchow Hall, will focus on the science and ethics of vaccine development and distribution. Several YSPH faculty members will speak at this event.

To register, please contact jonathan.moser@yale.edu or call 203-432-5680. The symposium schedule is below.
