Molinaro Elected Member of International Statistical Institute

Annette Molinaro, Ph.D., assistant professor in the division of Biostatistics at the Yale School of Public Health has been elected as a member of the International Statistical Institute.

The International Statistical Institute (ISI), established in 1885, is one of the oldest international scientific associations active today. The Institute is an autonomous society, which seeks to develop and improve statistical methods and their application through the promotion of international activities and cooperation.

The ISI is composed of some 2,000 elected members who are internationally recognized leaders in the field of statistics. Its membership crosses all borders, representing more than 133 countries worldwide. Members are elected by virtue of their distinguished contributions to the development or application of statistical methods.
