Committee on International Health Holds Fall Symposium

The Committee on International Health (CIH) holds an Annual Fall Symposium, Poster Session and Reception dedicated to the memory of Wilbur G. Downs, M.D., M.P.H. Downs was a Yale University Professor of Epidemiology and Public Health, in the fields of tropical medicine and infectious diseases. This year, the CIH is also honoring Dr. Robert Shope and Dr. Jordi Casals, former members of the CIH and colleagues of Downs who have passed away in the last year. This year's symposium will be held Wednesday, October 20, 2004 from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. in the Hope Lobby and in Hope 110.
Poster sessions will be held in the Hope Lobby from 4:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. during the Reception. Three Downs Fellows will give oral presentations from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in Hope 110.
