Advanced Professional M.P.H. Program
M.D.-M.P.H. Joint-Degree Program
Candidates for the M.D.-M.P.H. Program must be currently enrolled in the Yale School of Medicine. Students complete the M.P.H. program requirements during the fourth year of this five year program. M.D.-M.P.H. students are required to complete a thesis instead of a capstone course. The thesis must be related to the student’s programs in both public health and medicine, and satisfies requirements for both degrees. The thesis is normally completed during the fifth year of the joint degree program.
