Dr. Katherine Quesenberry DVM, Dipl ABVP

 

Position: M.P.H. Student in Epidemiology of Microbial Disease

Education: DVM, College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Georgia (1981). Internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery, Animal Medical Center, New York, New York (1982). Residency in Wildlife and Zoological Medicine, University of Florida (1984)

Areas of Interest: Dr. Quesenberry’s research interests are in the zoonotic diseases of birds and mammals

Current Projects: Her current research project is a survey of Canada geese for potential zoonotic pathogens, including avian influenza and Helicobacter canadensis. Although not a project but just as equally important, She continues to work in clinical veterinary practice as a specialist in avian and exotic animal medicine.
