The Department of Biostatistics in the School of Public Health at Yale University is seeking applicants at the rank of Assistant and/or Associate Professor. Recent graduates and applicants who have a research focus in big data, causal inference, environmental statistics, measurement error and missing data, study design, statistical computing and optimization, survival data analysis, longitudinal data analysis, asymptotic inference, or implementation science methods are encouraged to apply.
The Yale School of Public Health is committed to growing and extending its expertise in biostatistics, epidemiologic methods, and implementation science methods. There are existing collaborations with the School of Medicine, particularly with the Yale Center for Clinical Investigation (YCCI, Yale’s CTSA) and the Yale Cancer Center, within a new Yale Center for Implementation Science Methods, and throughout the university. Successful candidates will be expected to develop an independent program of methodological research in their area of interest, while cultivating collaborations with other investigators in the Yale School of Public Health, the Yale School of Medicine and Yale University. In addition, successful candidates will be expected to teach graduate courses and mentor graduate students and post-doctoral fellows.
