Biography

Mr. Petschke has been a research and project coordinator in the Health Policy & Management department at the Yale School of Public Health since March 2004. In addition, he is the program manager for the Inclusion Body Myositis Disease Registry at Yale (IBMR). His responsibilities include: research coordination, project management, field surveys, data management, grant administration, budgetary oversight, and general administration of multiple research projects and studies under Principal Investigators A. David Paltiel and Jody Sindelar. He also oversees the IBMR website, IBMR Registry, IBM Personalized Index Calculator, and various outreach activities for the IBMR project. 

Mr. Petschke studied Atmospheric Science, Geography, and Meteorology at Penn State and the University at Albany (bachelor's degree, 1986). He previously held professional positions in meteorology, transportation planning, transportation and transit analysis, and grant & contract management before coming to Yale in 2004.
