Alumni - Lifelong relationships

Students and alumni at the 2019 Career Trek in Washington, DC

YSPH offers a variety of opportunities to connect with the over 6,200 alumni of the school currently working in the field.

Options to connect with Yale Alumni:

  • The Yale School of Public Health Alumni LinkedIn group is a wonderful way to connect with alumni and fellow students.
  • The Yale Career Network. The YCN is a database of Yale alumni from across the university interested in networking with fellow alumni & current students.
  • Mentorship Program (a mentorship match program managed by the YSPH Office of Alumni Affairs. This opens in the fall semester).
  • On campus speakers: The Office of Career Services and Alumni Affairs work together to bring a variety of guests to campus to speak about their work in the field.
  • Department Seminars also bring some of the leading figures in public health to campus. Recent speakers have included not only academics, but senior officers from the CDC, EPA, World Bank and many leading NGOs.

The most important gift of studying at YSPH was inspiration – I was surrounded daily by faculty and students who exemplified the social mission of public health
