Stakeholder Analysis

Stakeholder analyses can be carried out to identify:

  1. Organizations, key actors, or decision markers
  2. Processes involved in the translation of policy recommendations based on BBF findings into action.

Stakeholder analyses (i.e., stakeholder mapping) can be conducted through an interview process based on the NetMap method, a tool used globally to help both stakeholders and project managers understand, map, and improve the diffusion of ideas, knowledge, and policy solutions (Schiffer, 2007).

When to use this tool

It is recommended to conduct stakeholder mapping after the fifth meeting to identify organizations, actors, and processes involved in the translation of BBF policy recommendations into action.
