Alyssa is a PhD student in the Department of Epidemiology of Microbial Diseases at the Yale School of Public Health, and is a Yale Climate Change and Health Pre-doctoral Fellow. Her research has been aimed at quantifying the impact of interventions aimed at curtailing infectious disease outbreaks such as those caused by Zika and Ebola virus. Alyssa's ongoing research focuses on understanding the influence of climate on transmission of dengue via statistical spatio-temporal and mathematical modeling.
