Biography

Dr. Quach’s academic journey began with an MD from Hanoi Medical School, followed by an MPH from Brown University and a Ph.D. in Gerontology from UMass Boston, with a Postdoc at Harvard Medical School.

She is an Associate Research Scientist/Research Faculty at the Yale School of Public Health. Her research interests are in the social determinants of health, HIV and Aging. Dr. Quach investigates the relationships between social relationship patterns and cognitive/physical function, along with exploring the overall quality of life in older adults globally, with and without HIV. With over a decade of VA data expertise, she dives into the epidemiology of aging studying health outcomes among older veterans. Backed by a portfolio of 48 peer-reviewed articles, booklets and book chapters, Dr. Quach's commitment to research and education helps pave the way for designing optimal public health interventions.
