Join the Yale School of Public Health for the Summer Course in Public Health Modeling, June 22-26, 2020. This is an exciting opportunity to learn from distinguished faculty, network with an international group of public health researchers, and experience Yale’s beautiful iconic campus.

This intensive five-day residential program is designed to provide researchers, clinicians, industry professionals, and policymakers with the systems-based perspective and analytic tools they need to better understand and manage the complex forces that drive the health of populations. Course topics include optimal decision-making in healthcare delivery and design of clinical trials, to prediction and control of infectious disease outbreaks, to mitigating the effects of drug overdoses.

Course instructors are Yale faculty experts in epidemiology, biostatistics, health policy, and health care operations.

Participants will gain knowledge of the key components of clinical trials including but not limited to trial phase and design, randomization schemes, selection of outcome, and appropriate statistical analysis including sample size and power considerations, ethics, and regulatory affairs.
