Environmental Action series: "Clean Water Solutions in the Caribbean"

Our speaker is Dr. Steve Whittaker, postdoctoral associate in global health at the Jackson Institute for Global Affairs.

Dr. Whittaker endeavors to build on examinations of health outcomes as influenced by climate change management, communication and disaster impact response among susceptible groups in uniquely vulnerable tropical locales. His doctoral dissertation from Yale University focused on climate change adaptation, air quality, and health in the Eastern Caribbean. Dr. Whittaker balances his time as a researcher with teaching and mentoring as well as supporting independent studies of the environment and violence through collaborative work in St. Kitts and Nevis.

This presentation is part of the Environmental Action series presented by the ECHORN cohort study and Yale-TCC.
