Solomon Center for Health Law and Policy: "State AGs v. Pharma: Taking on the Opioid Crisis and Generic Drug Price Fixing in Court"

The Solomon Center for Health Law and Policy will welcome Connecticut Attorney General William Tong for a discussion of his recent work spearheading of multi-state lawsuits against pharmaceutical giants. In conversation with YLS/YSM Professor Abbe Gluck and SOM Professor Fiona Scott Morton, Attorney General Tong will address his experiences investigating and litigating against some of the world's largest drug manufacturers for allegedly working in concert to drive up prices for generic drugs essential for treating many common and chronic health conditions. The Attorney General will also discuss his recent work litigating against opioid manufacturers for their role in the opioid crisis, and the conversation may also address state action against e-cigarette manufacturers.

The event is free and open to the public and lunch will be served.
