Yale affiliates -- including students, staff, and faculty -- can get free subscriptions to many newspapers. Well, these subscriptions are free to you; the library is paying for them, so professional journalists are still getting supported financially.
You can set up your free accounts yourself at the links below, right now! Or you can drop in to this Zoom meeting, chat with a friendly medical librarian, and set up the accounts and apps. Drop-ins welcome – registration is not required. If you register, we’ll send you an email reminder with all these account set-up links. Join us for two minutes or an hour – up to you. If you want to set up some newspaper apps on your mobile devices, you should Zoom in from a computer and have your devices with you. Live session bonus: I’ll show you Library PressReader, to browse recent issues of newspapers and magazines from around the world. Use this on your tablet and it’s just like reading a printed magazine. I use it to practice foreign languages – fun resource.
