Scale Up and Spread

GHLI develops and evaluates models of dissemination, diffusion and scale up. Through this work we have pioneered the AIDED model, a practical framework for understanding what works in scaling up evidence-based health interventions in low-income countries. This model proposes five interrelated components that are essential to the complex process of scale up: assessing the landscape, innovating to fit the environment, developing support, engaging key stakeholders and devolving efforts for spreading the innovation.
