Social Entrepreneurship for Public Health and Education
InnovateHealth Yale (IHY), housed at the Yale School of Public Health, supports the creation of innovative solutions to challenges in public health and education for underserved communities in the United States and low-resource countries.
As one of the first innovation programs based at a School of Public Health, IHY supports innovative thinking and organizations through mentoring, interdisciplinary programming, and funding.
To date, InnovateHealth Yale has:
- Coached over 200 students
- Funded 52 startups operating in 30 countries
- Awarded over $400,000 in impact grants and internship funding for a broad array of student ventures
- Seen our alumni go onto be funded and supported by Techstars, MIT Solve, the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, Google, and leading venture capital firms
