Michael Pantalon, PhD, used his musical talents to help illustrate his opinions about addiction research and treatment at a recent TedxYale lecture.
Pantalon, a voluntary faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry and Senior Research Scientist in Emergency Medicine, had his guitar with him when he talked about his more than 20-year career in addiction research and clinical practice.
He said experience has taught him that using scientifically-supported treatments will lead to the best opportunity for recovery.
