Kassandra Harding’s research focuses on maternal and child nutrition and health in low-resource settings. Specifically, her interests include 1) enhancing existing nutrition and health programs and interventions in low-income counties by improved monitoring and evaluation systems and promotion of local capacity building; 2) harnessing an understanding of health behavior and beliefs to improve the effectiveness of nutrition interventions; 3) focusing on women’s health and empowerment to improve nutrition and health outcomes of both women and their children.
