Biography
Chandra Kelsey MPH, CHES, supports the YSPH Office of Public Health Practice with student internships, the Public Health Practice Practicum course, Innovate Health Yale, and International Pre-Departure trainings as the Program Manager.
She currently serves on the board of directors for the Connecticut Breastfeeding Coalition. Chandra has partnered with Connecticut Department of Public Health- WIC on the "It's Worth It" campaign, to promote breastfeeding and community support and is currently apart of the New Haven Breastfeeding Task Force as a consultant for CARE under the REACH grant. Other recent work involved researching the barriers of data dissemination in a study for the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Program Legacy Steering Committee. Areas of interest: maternal-child health & breastfeeding, food security, geriatric health, health education. In January 2020 she was named one of Connecticut Magazine's 40 Under 40.
