Working as a clinical biostatistician in last 20+ years, I developed extensive experience in design, conduct, analysis and report of clinical trials. For example, I was a biostatistician for the Shingles Prevention Study, a trial demonstrating the safety and efficacy of a vaccine to prevent herpes zoster. The trial was instrumental in getting the vaccine licensed by the FDA in 2006.
My primary research interest includes clinical trial design, survival analysis, piecewise survival, electronic medical records, benefit and risk ratio and analysis of missing data. I have been focused on the areas of vaccine, immune response, nephrology, infections disease, and musculoskeletal diseases.
