Michelle Zupa, BS

Michelle Zupa is a research assistant on the LEAN study from Oxford, Connecticut. She graduated from The University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science in Allied Health Sciences with a concentration in Public Health and Health Promotion. Throughout her college career she was involved in a variety of organizations that promoted healthy behaviors, such as a program called Husky Reads that educated children about public health and nutrition. Her interest in both behavioral and cancer research, in particular how lifestyle factors such as diet and exercise can affect disease outcomes, is what led her to the LEAN study.
