Tiffany Fitzpatrick, PhD MPH, is a Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) Banting Postdoctoral Fellow at the Yale School of Public Health Department of Epidemiology of Microbial Diseases, where she is working with the Weinberger and Pitzer Labs.
Her recent research focuses on the epidemiology of pediatric respiratory viruses, particularly respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), with an emphasis on health equity and public health policy. Particularly, her postdoctoral research focuses on spatial and population variations in the transmission of RSV, and how this may be used to inform optimal RSV vaccination strategies. Dr. Fitzpatrick has previously worked as a research epidemiologist at several public institutions in Toronto, Canada, such as Public Health Ontario and the Hospital for Sick Children, and in a variety of content areas, including diabetes and high-cost healthcare use.
