Joint Degree ProgramsThe M.P.H. program offers joint degrees with other Yale professional schools and programs. Joint degree candidates must apply separately to each program and are encouraged to apply simultaneously. Be advised that application procedures and deadlines may differ greatly between programs. It is in the candidate's best interest to complete the application process early. Yale schools do not share documentation or application information. All admission decisions are independent. Joint degree students must complete a minimum of 15 course units toward the M.P.H. degree. Because the length of the programs and some restrictions that impact the joint degrees, we highly recommend that you contact both admissions offices to learn more about the joint degree offerings. Joint degrees are offered with:
Medicine – M.D./M.P.H. Yale College (B.A.-B.S./M.P.H.)The Select Program in Public Health offers Yale College students interested in the field of public health the opportunity to earn a Bachelor’s degree from Yale College and an M.P.H. degree from the Yale School of Public Health in a five-year joint program. Candidates for the five year B.A.-B.S./M.P.H. program follow a separate application process and must apply during their junior year.
