Degree Requirement - Maternal and Child Health Promotion

All courses are 1 unit unless otherwise noted

Students in the Social and Behavioral Sciences can choose the Maternal and Child Health Promotion (MCHP) Program pathway. This allows students to build knowledge and expertise centered around evidence-based maternal and child health (MCH) interventions through a social and behavioral lens. The pathway expands core building blocks in social and behavioral sciences with latest content and methods relevant to conducting innovative and impactful maternal child health research.

The PhD degree requires a total of 15-course units. Course substitutions must be identified, and approved by the student’s advisor and DGS.
