Yale Libraries

We want alumni to be able to read health science literature for free whenever possible! That’s why librarians at the Cushing/Whitney Medical Library curated a guide on Alumni Resources for the Health Sciences which includes information about open access tools, as well as clinical, consumer health, and global health resources. Plus, take pride in the research impact of yourself and your fellow alumni by browsing roughly 700 theses submitted to EliScholar by past public health students which have been downloaded by over 147,000 readers from 209 different countries.

Becoming a Medical Library Associate is an affordable way to support the Medical Library and reflect on your time as a student at Yale School of Public Health. In the past, Medical Library Associates have funded the creation of a digital imaging center, new exhibition cases for the central rotunda, creating the online exhibit of the history of the Yale School of Medicine, and more. Membership benefits include access to the Medical Library building, use of print and electronic resources, and ability to borrow materials, depending on membership tier.
