Summer Book Club for June
Summer Book Club in YSPH.
Participants will have the choice of a fiction and a nonfiction book.
The fiction book is “Little Fires Everywhere” by Celeste Ng (recently released as a series on Hulu, but you should also read the book).
The nonfiction book is: “Together: The Healing Power of Human Connection in a Sometimes Lonely World” by Vivek Murthy (He is a Yale graduate and former Surgeon General). Dr. Murthy looks at the hidden impact of loneliness on our health and community. What a great time to read about such an important topic.
The first meeting of the Summer Book Club will be Wednesday, June 17th at 8 pm (Eastern Standard Time) via Zoom. If you are interested in participating, please complete this survey by Monday, June 8th. We will host both the fiction and nonfiction discussion on Wednesday, June 17th at 8 pm (EST) and will send all participants a zoom link that matches the book chosen.
